What is OTTMap?
OTTMap is a discovery and recommendation app for Indian regional cinema — Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and more — across every major streaming platform. It helps you track what you want to watch and tells you exactly where each title is available to stream right now.
Does OTTMap stream video?
No. OTTMap is a discovery tool, not a streaming service. When you want to watch a title, OTTMap links you directly to the right platform — Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, ZEE5, SonyLiv, and others — where you watch it in their app or website.
How does cross-language recommendation work?
OTTMap lets you follow titles across multiple Indian film industries simultaneously. Select the languages you watch, and your feed surfaces content from all of them — ranked by relevance, release timing, and streaming availability in your region. There's no algorithm guessing your language preferences; you pick the industries you care about.
Is OTTMap free?
Yes, completely. OTTMap is a personal project released free of charge. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no premium tier. You can browse and discover without an account; you only need to sign in if you want to sync your watchlist across devices.
Which platforms does OTTMap cover?
OTTMap currently covers Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5, SonyLiv, Aha, and several other major platforms. Coverage is limited to platforms for which reliable streaming data is available. The list expands as data sources improve.
A title's streaming info is wrong. How do I report it?
Streaming availability data can lag by a few hours after a platform adds or removes a title. If something looks wrong, email contact@smara.tech with the title name and the issue. Reports help improve data accuracy for everyone.
Is there a web version?
Not currently. OTTMap is a native mobile app for iOS and Android. A web version is not planned at this time.
